South Australia food and wine Air Safari | Air Tour departing from Brisbane. Has a maximum of 9 passengers. This tour winds its way through the winery regions of the Hunter Valley, Milawa, Coonawarra, Clare Valley and the Barossa Valley plus side trips to Port Lincoln, Coffin Bay and Kangaroo Island. Enjoy a range of amazing restaurants at each location, included with the tour. As you fly between each location wonder at the amazing colours of the varying Australian landscapes and coastal vistas, a visual feast for the eyes.

Activity Level: Easy Going
All passengers must be able to walk unaided and climb stairs into the plane and ground transport as a minimum. You must be able to carry your own bag.
All Inclusive: Ensuited accommodation, all meals, daily tours, entertainment and entry fees, aircraft flights, ground tours and transfer transporation is all included in the price.
Alcohol - wine with dinner is included. Wine tasting fees where applicable are included.

Arriving at Archerfield at 7:45 am, we meet as a group at the Archerfield historic passenger terminal and have a quick safety presentation. In no time at all, we have everyone aboard the aircraft and are on the way to our first destination.
The first stop on the tour is Cessnock for all things Hunter Valley. We start with lunch and then head out for some wine tastings at Tulloch Wines and Pepper Tree wines. Plus a quick stop at the Chocolate Company for those with a sweet tooth.
Overnight at Voco Kirkton Park.

After a hearty breakfast we are headed south for Milawa and the renowned Brown Brothers Winery. We land at the winery and have a short stroll before lunch and a tasting.
Next stop is the Coonawarra with a fuel stop in Hamilton. We transfer from the Coonawarra Airport to Penola with time for a stroll around town before diner at Pipers in Penola.

Today is the Coonawarra region with their fabulous wines and interesting history. Wineries include Wynns Estate, Patrick of Coonawarra and more. Side excursions for the must do photo on the Coonawarra railway siding and a wander down Petticoat Lane!

We start today with a private tour of Yallum Estate, the residence of John Riddoch. Built in 1880, this house and grounds are amazing.
Transfer to Coonawarra airport for our flight to Kangaroo Island via the Coorong waterway and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Cameras ready!
Lunch at the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery followed by a private tour. After lunch we head to Kangaroo Island Ciders next door for a tasting. Check out the waterfront and catch the sunset reflections on the water of American River.
Tonight’s dinner will be at Reflections.
Overnight accommodation at the Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge.

This morning we check out the Seal Bay Conservation Park with a private tour. We then head to Bay of Shoals Winery for seafood platters and a tasting.
Emu Bay Lavender Farm for afternoon tea including coffee and scones before boarding our flight for Port Lincoln. Have the camera ready for those aerial shots of the coastline and the islands at the entrance to Spencer Gulf.

Overnight at the Port Lincoln Hotel.

Today we discover the area of Coffin Bay and how to grow an oyster, plus eat more than a few. Our local guides show us some great coastal views and also a hidden gem for nature lovers, it’s a surprise!
Lunch is at 1812 a fabulous feast of local seafood cooked to perfection.
After that feast you will need a bit of a walk!
Dinner tonight is at Fumo 28 a stroll from the hotel.

Departing Port Lincoln we fly along the west coast of Spencer Gulf before crossing the crystal clear water as we head for the Clare Valley. Flight time Approx 1 hour.
Celebrated for its Rieslings, the Clare Valley also produces world-class reds, including Shiraz and Cabernet. We visit the oldest winery Seven Hills Cellars, those monks sure know how to make wine, Hill River Clare Estates Wines, and lunch at Skillogalee Wines.After a day of all things Clare Valley we head to our aircraft for the quick flight to the Barossa Valley and our overnight at Hutton Vale Farm.
Hutton Vale Farm also makes wines, very good reds and a lovely riesling. We end the day with a private tasting and a feast around the pot belly fireplace.Overnight accommodation is at Hutton Vale Farm.

Today we visit the wineries of the Barossa Valley including Henschke, Yalumba and Seppeltsville plus a visit to Maggie Beers Farm and a wander around Tanunda. Finish the day with a tasting menu at Otherness Wines with matching wines of course!

Last travel day.
Following breakfast in Angaston, we return to Hutton Vale Farm for the short flight to Adelaide airport. A quick taxi transfer to the domestic side and your last flight of the tour with Qantas or Virgin to Brisbane.

The South Australia Air Tour is fully inclusive. Our team works with your Tour Directors to map out every step of the journey, and plan for every eventuality. The tour cost includes all accommodation, meals, ground and air travel, taxes, tours and entrance fees. Everything except Alcohol, outside of wine tastings and set dinners, is the only item not included in the price. As the intrepid traveler, all you’ll have to worry about is relaxing and enjoying every moment.
While we attempt to cater for all food dietary requirements, please remember it is your responsibility to let us know if you have dietary issues in advance.
